The Ummy Mummy Amazon Baby Store

November 6th, 2007  |  Published in Stores we like, Baby, Toddler

Well, isn’t this just serendipity. As ummymummy.co.uk throws open it’s doors to be the smart mummy’s personal shopper one of our favourite places to shop online for baby stuff, Amazon has a re-jiggle and gives it’s baby products the attention they deserve. You only have to browse a nursery shop for thirty seconds to know that ‘toys’ doesn’t really cover what a baby requires - hello! what’s fun about a dirty nappy at 3am?!! - and to realise there is So.Much.Out.There.

We are here to make life that little bit easier, We can’t promise that your baby will sleep through tonight (although have you tried a swaddling blanket?) or that your toddler will eat carrots today (even if you have discovered the subtle arts of Hiding Vegetables) but we will offer reviews of products that has worked for us, from pregnancy up to pre-school.

So, Amazon. Not only have they launched Amazon Prime (pay £49 for essentially a year’s free next day delivery - great if you’re a book junkie or buy all sorts of bits from there like us) and re-jiggled their baby products but they have a fabulous range of essentials. We are creating our own Ummy Mummy shop of all of our favourites so you can easily find a present for a pregnant friend or a funky wheely bug for your two-year old niece, not forgetting a super-cute t-shirt for the smallest member of your family.
